John 6:22-69
The first step in the discipleship process is to determine if you are a fan of Christ or a follower of Christ. Fans of Christ like Christ for how He benefits them. They do not believe or trust in Him fully, which eventually leads them to complain about, doubt, and reject Christ.
Followers of Christ believe in Christ. They trust in Him with everything. They seek Him, not for His benefits, but because of who He is. Followers of Christ believe that without Christ, they would have no where else to go (John 6:68).
