Matthew 28:18-20
After His resurrection from the dead, Jesus appeared to His followers and commissioned them to continue the work that He had already begun with them. Jesus invested His life in a few men, loving them and teaching them. Their mission now, was to continue this with others. To lead them to follow Jesus and to obey His word. God's plan for the multiplication of the Kingdom of God was to use a few men to invest their lives in others who would then invest their lives in others and so on.
This plan for multiplication is humbling, surprising, and glorifying to the Lord! Discipleship is one the greatest demonstrations of our love for God and our love for others.
