James 4:11-17
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will exalt you.
James warns those who desire to walk humbly before the Lord, to beware of the signs of arrogant living that lie under the surface. We tend to elevate ourselves in the way we speak about others and in the way we make plans for the future. James says to trust God, the Law-giver, and let Him be the judge, while also trusting God, the Sovereign Lord, and let Him direct our future. Both of these humble practices make for a good life with God and with others; God's best for you.
