Acts 8:26-40
How can you tell genuine faith from fake faith?
Luke describes in this passage a man that was eager to know God, trusted the words of the Gospel, and surrendered to respond appropriately. Genuine faith leads us to respond correctly. In the previous passage it seems that Simon the magician did do respond appropriately, but here the Ethiopian Eunuch did. God used Phillip in a miraculous way to spread the Gospel even further. The unstoppable movement of the Gospel is spreading in powerful ways.
