Deuteronomy 6:1-9
Parenting is one of the hardest responsibilities on earth, while also one of the most essential and most rewarding.
God has established the family as the primary learning community in the life of the child, and it is the parents’ responsibility to make sure that this functions effectively. Often, parents become distracted from their parenting goals and even weary when met with continual opposition. But if our children are going to know the Lord and love the Lord, then they need to see that their parents are continually seeking to know God and love God as well. If the next generations do not know God, then we are to blame for that tragedy.
